International Impact Book Award

I received good news today, friends. Faith, Flag, and Family was selected as a winner by the International Impact Book Awards: Life Experiences Category! I am honored and owe so much to those who motivated me to write the essays in this book over the years. I truly am indebted to those I served with, those I deployed with, those I spent months with, in harm's way, and, of course, those I love, those I shared heartache and heartbreak, but indeed, the glory be to the Lord, my Savior, who enabled me, a broken man, once bitter and battered, to find healing, and follow Him. Amen.
